Another Rails Girls coding workshop for young women was held on Saturday, 12 November 2016.
More than fifty participants attended the free one-day workshop, organised by the not-for-profit association WIDE (Women In Digital Empowerment) with support from Digital Lëtzebuerg.

At the workshop, the participants created a complete web application using the Ruby on Rails programming tool, all in the convivial atmosphere of the cafeteria at the Forum Geesseknäppchen in Luxembourg City.

Rails Girls is an international concept offering an ideal context for young women and girls who might otherwise hesitate to enter the tech environment, which remains a male stronghold.
