Felix Weis, a programmer from Luxembourg, has been on a trip around the world since January 2015 using only bitcoin. Weis has already visited 14 countries and intends to visit a total of 21 by the end of the year. After touring Europe, Weis is now on the Asian leg of his journey and will continue to South America in autumn.
Weis’ experiences in each country vary widely depending on bitcoin adoption rates and awareness. He plans to create a software start-up to make bitcoin usage easier and safer for the average person. Fintech and bitcoins are also one of the priorities of Digital Luxembourg.
